Manager Leadership Program

This program is designed for mid-level leaders, and team or department managers responsible for delivering results and the performance of the team. The Manager Leadership Training builds on the concepts introduced in the Supervisor Leadership Training to enhance their ability to deliver results while creating a common leadership language and greater depth of knowledge within the organization. This program is more complex than Supervisor Leadership as it deepens the learning, enables managers to further develop their supervisors to sustain their learning, and creates self-development and self-confidence in the managers.

Participants will have up to 6-days of sessions and 24 weeks of Learning Transfer to apply the learning to their work environment. During this time participants will submit key learnings they are applying, and weekly badges are awarded on our proprietary learning transfer website.

What participants are saying about the Manager Leadership Program:

“I learned that a common vision and goal is needed between every manager and their direct reports. Without this we are both working in separate directions and this is going to never lead to success”.

“As managers, we have been taught to give constructive feedback to better a person regardless of the position they hold. I often catch myself crossing the line between constructive criticism and complaining about something. Throughout my many years of leading and managing, I have never attended any type of training or classes on how to give or receive constructive criticism”
“It has opened the doors to better communication…Makes my job much easier having most all of us (leaders) on the same page, speaking the same language (of leadership)”.
“I find myself revisiting the key learning cards because they are the solutions to many of our issues if we apply these steps.”
“There are several items from this program my team and I already use on a daily basis and have become a way of life. We will continue to use their practices and help develop our next group that attends the program.”

The Journey Continues

Keep your Managers active in the learning process through three unique application options

Alumni Manager Program Icon

Manager Alumni

Upon successful graduation participants become alumni and receive a monthly newsletter linking them back to the program content with suggested actions. The Manager Leadership Program content is linked to life and participants learn how to apply the lessons taught in-class to their personal lives.

Manager Learning Review Icon

Manager Learning Review

A targeted review program for two years upon completion of the Manager Leadership Program. Department managers will alternate roles of leading monthly conversations on a designated topic, creating ownership and accountability. This builds the strength of managers as topics are reviewed and applied to the location. Leaders will have a pre-read activity, make a monthly commitment, and received weekly follow up. The process will further develop the manager leadership skills and their collaboration as a peer group as they work together to solve local issues and challenges. Leaving the expertise with the location.

Manager Peer Mentor Icon

Manager Peer Mentoring

When a second cohort attends the Manager Leadership Program, the graduates can apply to become peer mentors. They will be paired with a new participant, anywhere in the country, and continue their learning journey as they develop skills to mentor a peer. This ensures success with the cohort groups as they will have an experienced peer to answer questions and provide guidance.
