Glass of Learning was nominated for two awards - Best Small Business and Best Innovation - in this year's Business Excellence Awards organized by the Greater Kitchener-Waterloo Chamber of Commerce.

The team recently attended the awards gala alongside 900 of the region's most prominent professionals and entrepreneurs - the city major and police chief were also at the event. Although we didn't walk away with any accolades, it was incredibly inspiring to be part of such a collaborative and supportive business community. It's environments like these that allow businesses and owners to thrive, succeed and always feel like winners.

This may have been our first shot at the awards, but it's definitely not our last. We'll be back again next year!

Pictures from the event are up on our Facebook page and a breakdown of winners can be found on Twitter.
